It would be useful to add a search feature and the ability to ask a question from the Community answers page.
Indeed it is:) but not very intuitive if you click on “Community Questions” it is only appears if you click “Documentation” Why not have a search or link to on actual questions page(s)?

This is a great suggestion as the questions page could certainly benefit from a search function. This would same extra clicks and the need to access other Community pages to find a search bar.
I will document this feedback with our Development Team so that we can explore out options for this page.

The SEARCH function on the primary HELP page (https://community.surveygizmo.com/?e=0&from) will search both the online documentation and the Community postings. There is a tool bar above the list of search results that will let you filter the list by Community or Documentation.
