Collect Position Data with Clickable Google Map

0

Hi! I’d like to collect latitude and longitude by allowing survey takers to click a point on a Google Map.

This National Institute of Health survey used SurveyGizmo to pose such a question to survey takers: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4004146/

Would you please describe how to go about this? Currently, I think I’d have to use the REST API and a heatmap question type, and I need implementation details.

Thanks!

    Hey Daniel,

SurveyGizmo does not currently have a built-in Google Map question. Based on the link you provided, it looks like they may have had a Google Maps question at one point around 2014, or perhaps a custom question was built for the referenced survey.

While I have not tried to implement something like this myself, I thought it might be good to mention that SurveyGizmo has a Programming Services team available for these types of custom projects:

    Hope this is helpful!
