Im a surveyguizmo user for a long time and now when I download the excel file from the report page it’s in a different format or something, because I see my data in a “portrait” format, not in columns ( excel regular exhibition mode),
Thanks for your attention,
It sounds like you’re exporting a report to Excel, as opposed to running a CSV/Excel raw data export, and these are two different things which might be causing the confusion.
By clicking the Excel option at the top of a report, what you are doing is exporting the report itself into an Excel file. When doing this, the system tries to keep the report style format as much as possible on the Excel file that gets exported. This is what it sounds like you’re seeing, and this is normal (and it’s not anything new in our system). Here is our documentation on this type of Excel export: http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/summary-report-exports#excel-export
What you’re expecting to see, it sounds like, is what you’d see if you ran a CSV/Excel export. This is a raw data export, it is not the same as what a report would show. It exports all of the raw data from a survey into the spreadsheet you’re expecting to see. This functionality has not changed either, it’s still the same as it’s always been. Here is our documentation that explains raw data exports: http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/excel-export
Hopefully this is helpful.
