Cannot find URL variable logic settings

0

Hey support,

I’m trying to get a hidden URL value to work.

I’ve set it up here: http://cl.ly/0O0j3N2I240O

But I can’t find the “logic” settings as indicated in this article: http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/url-merge-codes#

This section:http://cl.ly/3T2I213D2Q0j

What am I missing?

    Sure thing.

    What I’m trying to accomplish is this:

    The survey hyperlink is generated in the format http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2590970/CES?number=xyz where xyz is a variable that is being populated with an integer on our end.

    When the user clicks the link and does the survey, I see in results that the number variable has no value: http://cl.ly/041V0I1B3P2R

    Any ideas?

      You can use the parse_url() and parse_str() for that.

      $parts = parse_url($url);
      parse_str($parts[’query’], $query);
      echo $query[’email’];

        It looks like you have set this up correctly (as far as capturing your ‘number’ variable in a Hidden Value).

        Can you elaborate on what you are trying to accomplish with the logic?
