[Solved] Can I use an email address to populate a contact form with Salesforce data?

Trying to populate a form from Salesforce by asking for a person’s email address and not the ID.

[action] Populate contact form¬†from SF: email=’[contact(“email”)]’

    It seems like you should be able to populate based on email rather than an ID.

    Per this doc:

    Step 4 shows an example of capturing the ‘contactid’ from a url variable. I believe you can edit the sting here to say:

    select * from Contact(or other object) where Email(instead of Id) = ‘[contact(“email”)]’

    This might be a good place to start.
