How do I bold within the answer choices and

how to perform a hard enter so each column heading has consistent rows of text headings (either one row or two rows but not both across the column headings)?

1] To bold with the answer choices, click on the edit icon (the pencil shape) at the right end of the answer option field. The editor will open – click within the OPTION TITLE field to enable the HTML editor.  Use it to format your answer option.

2] If I understand your question correctly, you are trying to get the text within the column headers of a grid-type question to be consistent.  This is a much more difficult problem.  Web pages do not behave the same as paper documents – they will change based on each user’s browser, monitor size, and many other factors.

However, if you open the LAYOUT tab of the question you will find some tools that might help. There are settings that allow you to specify the overall width of the question, the width of the question column, and the width of the answer option rows.  Thru a trial and error process you might be able to find settings that will achieve the results you want.  Just remember that your respondents may have different monitor and monitor resolution settings that will affect how they see this question.

    Good luck.
