If you live in Colorado, you probably already know that Boulder takes Bike to Work day *very* seriously. If you’re not familiar, Bike to Work Day is a giant celebration of cyclists where businesses throughout Colorado set up booths with games, free stuff, and general fun for the cyclists to hit on those days. From the website:
Biking to work in Colorado is a tradition. The City of Boulder first celebrated Bike to Work Day more than 25 years ago. CDOT then began promoting it statewide, and in 1995 the Denver Regional Council of Governments began helping the area’s cities and counties link their individual events together. Bike to Work Day is celebrated in many communities along the Front Range and the mountains, but our region’s event is the largest in the state.
SurveyGizmo has been participating for three years now, and we don’t mess around. Games, music, food, and fun. Bike to work day represents dozens of hours of our employees’ hard work, from planning, to set-up and tear down. Our set-up volunteers will start at 5 AM (some of them biking here!), and we’ll have more than a dozen employees out there from start to finish.
Please, visit us at the corner of Foothills Pkwy & Pearl St.the morning of Wednesday, June 22nd. Meet some gizmos, eat some bacon, have some fun!
