Autosuggest – using large list of options

0

Hello – I am just trying to work out if I start using survey gizmo and move away from Limesurvey.

So a critical question for me is to know if:

1: the piping method is easy enough to master for a non-coder and

2: is is possible to use very large lists for autosuggest (I am running social network analysis surveys and when someone types in a colleagues name it MUST be autosuggested. Numbers for possible names could reach 10,000 – 15,000.

Thanks!

the piping features do not require coding, but perhaps I’m not sure exactly what you mean by coding. SurveyGizmo has these features documented and looking/reading through the documentation may help you determine how complex these features are.

The FAQ is a good place to start and links to a number of other documents:

    https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/piping-faq-and-troubleshooting-tips

With regard to the auto-suggest feature, here is the relevant documentation:

    https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/force-autocomplete-values

You may need to do some testing within your account to see if a list as large as the one you intend to use causes any problems.

    Hope this helps!
