If someone answers X to a question, can the next question force validation of >X?

0

Hello, I am creating a survey and want to validate that the answer to a question is greater than another.  For example:

Q1: Answer is 10

Q2: Answer must be greater than 10

How do I enforce the logic/validation on Q2?

Thank you!

There are no standard functions that you could use to accomplish this.

However, if your account allows it, you could create a custom script that would do this.  The first step would be to use the sgapiGetValue function to get the value entered in Q1 (X).  The next step would be to add a 1 to the value (X = X +1).  The final step will use the sgapiSetQuestionProperty function to set the minimum response value of Q2 to X.

For this to work, Q1 and Q2 will have to be on separate pages.

    Good luck.
