Add row to custom table

Is there any way to have test takers add rows to a custom table?

@Roger : We do not currently have an option to allow respondents to add rows as needed to a custom table. I will make note of this for discussion with our product and engineering teams as a possible future improvement!

Here’s an example survey for you: https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4847912/Add-as-needed-custom-table-rows

Just a few simple steps to add this to your survey! First, create a custom table. Add a max number of rows that you’d like your survey taker to be able to add by clicking Add Row in the editor and numbering each row. Next, go to the Layout tab for the question and scroll to the bottom to CSS Class Name. There, type in mycustomtable and save.

Next, add a Javascript Action to the same page as the table. Copy the code from the Javascript section of this link: https://jsfiddle.net/caitlinadian/4pn15zqr/2/ and paste it into the Javascript action. Click save.

Finally, go to the Style tab of your survey and click HTML/CSS Editor in the bottom right corner. Copy the code from the CSS section from the same jsfiddle link above, paste it into that section, and hit save.

      That should do it!

        • @Caitlin This is great, thank you. Do you know if there’s any way to hid the hidden rows when in Review Actions or PDF attachments?
